Most numbers in Spanish are invariable, but "one" changes depending on the gender of the noun.
The Number One: The number 1 is uno, but when it comes before a noun, it drops the 'o' to become un for masculine nouns (un perro) and changes to una for feminine nouns (una casa).
Hundreds: Hundreds also change for gender. Example: doscientos euros but doscientas personas. Numbers like dos, tres, diez do not change.
